Crowns
A crown, often times referred to as a cap, works by fitting over a damaged tooth to protect it as well as replenish its strength and appearance. They are specially made to resemble natural teeth, and they can be used to fully repair teeth with large cavities, severe breaks, and obvious cosmetic imperfections.
Cosmetic Bonding
If you’re simply looking to spruce up your smile and take care of a problem that has bothered you for years, cosmetic bonding can be the quick and easy solution you need. Dr. Nase or Dr. Rosales can make minor chips, gaps, and stains disappear in just one appointment. They’ll simply apply a color-matched composite resin to the offending tooth and shape it to look like perfectly healthy enamel. In as little as an hour, it will seem like the problem was never there in the first place.
Fillings
If you have a cavity that needs a filling, we offer both white (composite) and silver (amalgam) fillings. Both of these options have varying advantages that your dentist can discuss with you. If a composite resin is used on your tooth, the material can be shaded to seamlessly blend into the surrounding enamel, ensuring no one will notice your dental work.
Bridges
If you have one or more missing teeth in a row, a dental bridge can do exactly what its name indicates—bridge the space. Bridges utilize crowns on adjacent teeth to the missing tooth or teeth. The crowns hold the false tooth/teeth, called the pontics, in place. The bridge is secured with dental cement which allows you to regain the ability to chew, speak and smile without worry. Bridges supported by implants are also a great option that we can provide.
Partials and Dentures
Whether you are missing just a few teeth or all your upper or lower teeth, we can make you a custom-made denture or partial denture. There are several materials that can be used to make your partial denture. We will make sure your custom denture or partial denture is fitted properly and obtain your approval before the finished product is delivered. We also offer implant supported dentures. Dr. Nase has experience in making Locator, Conus and Hybrid implant supported dentures.
Dental Implants
Dental implants have truly been revolutionary for the world of dentistry as they enable dentists to literally replace an entire tooth from the root up. They can be used to replace one tooth through a crown, multiple teeth through a bridge, or can support a denture for those with no teeth. When fully implanted, dental implants can look and feel like natural teeth. Implants are placed by an oral surgeon or periodontist. Dr. Nase and Dr. Rosales will then restore the implant with a crown, bridge or implant denture.
Veneers
Veneers are a thin porcelain cap that covers the front of the tooth. They can be used to correct misshaped, discolored, or slightly rotated teeth. Talk to us to see if this would be a good option for you.
Teeth Whitening
Teeth naturally darken with age, however staining may be caused by various foods and beverages such as coffee, tea and berries, some drugs such as tetracycline, smoking, or trauma to a tooth.
We offer a few options for teeth whitening. We also offer a customized bleaching tray system to help give you the white smile you have longed for. Opalescence® is a product which has a long standing record of safety, effectiveness, and it has the American Dental Association seal of approval. I wish I could choose 100 stars for this practice! I'm a nervous patient with crippling dentophobia, so I generally tend to avoid dentists -- but when an old cavity turned into a painful infection last summer, I had no choice but to visit one. A friend referred me to Nase Family Dental, and though I was an anxious mess when I entered the office, I was beaming and at ease in the chair. Both Dr. Nase and Dr. Rosales are stellar clinicians with a gentle touch and superlative bedside manner! Every staff member I've interacted with has been so friendly, warm, and professional as well. :)
I actually just returned from the practice because I had a dental emergency related to an extraction performed by an outside oral surgery group. The oral surgery practice declined to see me for a followup despite my concerns about post-surgical complications. Panicked and in pain, I called the team at Nase Family Dental, who squeezed me in within the hour for an impromptu appointment. Dr. Rosales irrigated the extraction site, applied medicated ointment to the socket, and called the oral surgery group to advocate on my behalf. I feel a gazillion times better both physically and mentally! Thank you all so much; you truly are like family. :)
